We're all quick to criticize when we have a bad experience with a dealer so I thought I would report a positive experience. I know others have posted positive experiences with TractorSmart and their personnel but this is the first time I've dealt with them. I sent an order via internet on Saturday using a parts book downloaded from their site. Ronnie Bowman called me Monday morning to clear up some questions I had on parts availability and the parts were on my porch when I got home from work Tuesday. It's refreshing to deal with people who still "get" service.

I Ditto that. I have ordered through their online parts store several times and have nothing but great service. Good to know they are there when you need them. I've ordered parts at the same time through Northern and got them a week later than the Tractorsmart parts.. ....

FYI, Their prices are about 20% above what our store would usualy sell parts at. Don't be so blind as to not check with your local dealer.

I appreciate what you're saying. The problem is the nearest dealer is over 50 miles away. When I can order parts in 10 minutes Saturday night instead of blowing half a day and $10 in gas, it's worth it to me to pay the 20%. It would be different if there was a dealer just down the road.
I'm sure there are others who offer great service and I'll check your site next time I order. The reasons I went with TractorSmart this time were they provided the parts book online, they provide prices online, and their online order process was well thought out and easy to use. If you provide equal services for 20% less, I'll be happy to give you my next order. ....
